Roadside, alpine, granite, flat landing, not tall but not small and surprisingly really good movement on interesting holds. Night Sky hidden by clouds up in the Poudre Canyon. Summer nights are getting closer to the end, but we are still pushing and chasing those long summer nights. Climbing with friends late into the evenings, trying hard and having a good time. Perfect end to those days is stopping, relaxing and enjoying the stars for a little bit. Even if the clouds are trying to block them. I really like this shot highlight the woods, the road, the night sky and emotions it brings out of me. The eeriness of the trees and shadows, not seeing where the road ends or goes into the darkness. Getting excited thinking about this years upcoming @joesvalley Fest This 3 day event brings the local town together with us crazy rock climbers for games, rodeo, climbing and so much more. Joe's Valley is one of my favorite bouldering spots that I have been lucky enough to climb at multiple times. The rock is perfect sandstone, very featured, great texture and a plethora of boulders to try. The local towns are small, but friendly. The festival focuses on bringing the two parties together of climbers and the locals. Something that I find very amazing.
